Godfreys x Pet Stock Terms & Conditions
The Godfreys x Pet Stock Instagram competition (“Competition”) is conducted by Electrical Home-Aids Pty Limited ABN 62 007 539 577 of Brandon Office Park, Building 3, First Floor 530-540 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley VIC 3150 (“Godfreys”). These terms apply to the conduct of the Competition. By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and any other terms attached to the prize.
The Competition commences at 12:01am AEDT on 10 October 2023 and ends at 11:59pm AEST 16 October 2023 (“Competition Period”). The Competition will be drawn at 11:00am AEST on 19 October 2023 at Brandon Office Park, Building 3, First Floor 530-540 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley VIC 3150 (“Draw Date”).
The prize pool for the competition comprises one (1) Miele Triflex HX2 Cat & Dog Stick Vacuum (SKU 14120173) with a store ticket price of $899 (“Prize”). If the Prize (or any part thereof) is unavailable, Godfreys in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part thereof) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
Eligibility and Entry
To enter the Competition during the Competition Period, a person must:
- Be a natural person, an Australian resident and be over the age of 18 at the commencement of the Competition;
- Follow @petstock_australia and @godfreysvacuumsau on Instagram (“Platform”)
- Like the competition post, comment in 25 words or less about the biggest mess your pet has ever made, and tag one friend (“Instagram handles”) in the comments.
(“Participant”)
Each person who is a Participant will have unlimited entries into the Competition. There is no limit on the number of Participants that can enter the Competition. Duplicate entries will be counted. The Competition is not open to any employee of Godfreys or any entity associated with the conduct of this Competition or an immediate family member of an employee of Godfreys or any other entity associated with the conduct of this Competition. Godfreys reserves the right to verify that a Participant meets the minimum requirements to be a Participant.
Draw and Prize
The Competition will be drawn using a third-party electronic competition drawing platform. The Competition will have a sole winner (“Winner”) and a reserve winner (“Reserve”). Godfreys will notify the Winner by direct message on the Platform within 5 business days of the Draw Date. The Winner has 28 business days to claim the Prize by nominating an address for the Prize to be shipped to (at Godfreys expense) or a Godfreys retail outlet they wish to collect the Prize from. Where the Winner fails to claim the Prize within 28 business days, the Winner forfeits the Prize and the Prize will be awarded to the Reserve. Where the Reserve fails to claim the Prize within 28 business days of being notified (by email or phone) of their entitlement to claim the Prize by nominating an address for the Prize to be shipped to (at Godfreys expense) or a Godfreys retail outlet they wish to collect the Prize from, the Prize is forfeited and retained by Godfreys.
General
All Participants consent to: (a) participate in reasonable promotional activities, including but not limited to interviews and photographic and recording sessions, in respect to their participation in the Competition (including any outcome); and (b) Godfreys using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a Winner (including photograph, film and/or recording) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by Godfreys or their related entities.
If the Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the control of Godfreys, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, or force majeure, Godfreys reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Participants; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as appropriate.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Godfreys (including its respective officers, employees and agents and related entities) excludes all liability (including negligence) and will not be liable for: (a) any personal injury; (b) any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) including direct, indirect or consequential loss (c) third party interference; (d) late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected entries; (e) variation in the Prize; (f) any tax liability incurred by a Winner, Reserve or Participants; (g) use of / taking of the Prize; or (h) technical malfunction impacting the operation of the Competition, arising in any way out of the Competition.
As a condition of accepting the Prize, a Winner must sign any legal documentation as, and in the form, required by Godfreys and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
Privacy Notice
By entering the Competition, each Participant consents to the collection of their personal information by Godfreys. Personal information collected will be used to facilitate the administration of this Competition, marketing of the Competition and Godfreys, and to allow Godfreys to communicate with Participants.
Godfreys may disclose personal information to third parties for the above listed purposes. Godfreys will collect and store personal information in accordance with the terms of their respective privacy policies, copies of which can be accessed at https://www.godfreys.com.au/privacy-policy. Each Winner consents to the publication of their name and suburb of residence as required by law.
