Suprisingly great - I love it!Review by T
I went in to Godfrey's to pick up a cheap robot vacuum cleaner as an alternative to our big old heavy vacuum cleaner that I can't be bothered lugging around the house any more. We saw the cheap robot one in store and were not very impressed with it.(Posted on 24/11/13)
Then we got persuaded to consider the Hoover Stick Vac (even though we liked the look of the Electrolux one) and brought it home. I can't believe how much it got out of the carpet! Especially with the sweeping Turbo head. Its so light and easy to maneouvre, and because its just the one unit, theres no lugging it around or plugging it in!
Very happy with this purchase, will actually enjoy vacuuming again.
SuperbReview by Hank
Changing from the vacuum bought from BigW what can I say, I can't compare apple and orange right? But I am really surprised with the difference. Freejet really surprised me with how much dust and dirt it got off my carpet. I actually ran a robot vacuum prior to using freejet, and WOW I don't think i will be using the robot again.(Posted on 28/10/13)
overall I am very pleased with this little guy. Easy to use, and suits me well.
Absolutely love it!Review by Linda
We have a really good quality regular vacuum cleaner that cost considerably more (purchased about 4 years ago) than the free jet , but I will never use my other vacuum again. The freejet seems to do at least the same job, if not better. The regular vacuum has remained in the cupboard for months and I have only been using the free jet. We have two kids that get quite messy and seldom manage to wipe their feet. The freejet does an amazing job on one of our most dirt grabbing rugs! We did have some problems with it after 18months of use, but godfreys sent it off and Hoover gave us a brand new one. So very impressed with the service response of both godfreys and Hoover.(Posted on 4/07/13)
Great vacuumReview by Tash
This is a great, easy to use vacuum cleaner. The suction is very good considering the type and size of machine.(Posted on 30/09/12)
It turns out though that they don't survive a fall from the top of the stairs to the bottom. But so impressed with the 2011 model that we went out and replaced it with the2012 model.
light weight, good look, powerfulReview by Toby
This vacuum suits my needs well.(Posted on 28/06/12)
I have only had it for a week. All in all, Ok for the money.Review by igetwhatipay4
It does the job asked for. Good suction for a battery powered device. 19.2volts. I would recommend as much power as possible - right? The price is fair compared to the competition. Be aware: Splitting the handle after assembly will not be just a pull in reverse, screws may need to be removed!? Info. not supplied in the manual, and a software copy of same could not be found on the Web. at the time - not many manuals for this brand: a shame.(Posted on 3/05/12)
Most important however, I’ve noticed that the cyclonic design is a bit poor, the chamber is a bit small leaving the filter too low/close to the action, and so prone to get clogged up far too quickly - requiring the removal of the filter & screen too often. I've kept it clean, read the instructions, so far so good I’m happy. Note also that there are no floor lights, this saves on power but maybe the next model will have them & be switchable. It’s light, manoeuvrable & reasonably quiet.
