So far so good. Miele 3D hyclean vacuum bags hold a lot and seem to sustain their integrity during disposal; no breakage or leaking during extraction from the vacuum is a positive!

I used the online service to order some more bags - In transit it somehow went past where I live up north for a tour of the country before getting to me. I contacted the webpage and within 24 hours I had a phone call letting me know that a new batch have been sent to me with an extra box of bags as a sorry. It was at my door the next day. Fantastic customer service.

The bags seem very expensive for disposable ones. Will ration how I often I empty them.

The dustbag has plastic components which are not as eco-friendly as Miele's previous bags which were made from paper and cardboard only.

Bags cost what they cost but it is cheaper to buy genuine Miele bags online. Would have been better off to go home and buy online as there was already a bag in the vacuum and I wouldn't have needed one for a while.

Whilst the service rep was friendly it ruins the experience when staff are pushing to upsell to you every opportunity they can. I won't be coming back for this reason. A trusted advisor is someone that will create repeat business. On my first visit to one of your stores I was incredibly impressed. But when visiting a second store having made my mind up on what to buy, having a staff member bee line to you as soon as you enter the shop and pushing for you to talk to them after saying "I'm ok thanks", is rather off putting. Every opportunity the staff member had he tried to offer an add on or something else all together. I understand that he may be commission based and he was actively applying company training techniques, but perhaps establishing if a customer knows what they want and serving them with great customer
service in this instance would have created a better customer experience rather than applying almost hard sales techniques.

As I hadn't bought a new vacuum cleaner and associated consumables for some time, I undertook some research through Choice and other avenues to ensure I was confident about the product I was after. The sales representative in Godfreys was able to confirm promptly that they had stock in store and quickly organised a user demo for me. I was happy with product demo so proceeded with my purchase of a new vacuum and relevant bag consumable.

So, the lady that served me did have good customer service. I can't help but think her showing me all of the suction power of much more expensive vacuums was just part of her job description. However, the man working with her was rude and arrogant. He kept interrupting with comments about what vacuums his family had bought, or that the one I was buying did not have a motorised head etc (it does actually but Godfreys do not stock it, the good guys do). I had done thorough research on the Miele I wanted and it was on sale which was a bonus but this guy just kept trying to upsell and the lady kept telling him I did my research I know what I want. I ended up with the floorstock model as it was all they had left, I didn't mind that. However they could not check if the Underwood store had any in stock as it was owned differently however at the sale end they pulled up my information from there. Seemed a bit misleading. Lastly, they try to sell you generic accessories instead of stocking accessories for the brands (e.g. turbo and electrobrushes) which can actually void your warranty and claims on repairs. For the 'vacuum experts' you would think they'dknow this. Overall the lady was nice, the guy was rude, should have taken the sale price to good guys or Harvey Norman and had them match it.

All staff very attentive and knowledgeable about products.Excellent old fashioned customer service(a rarity in this day and age). Even down to coffee and biscuit.A most enjoyable shopping experience.

This applies to everything on this website, including vacuum cleaners, vacuum bags and accessories. 'Total spend' includes all products and services purchased in a single online transaction excluding freight costs. Godfreys aim to dispatch all orders the following business day.

Note: Please allow extra time for delivery around public holidays. In order to qualify for our delivery service, the products that you ordered have to be in stock, they must be ordered online, payment must be received by us, accurate delivery details must be provided and your delivery address must be within Australia. Alternatively, you can choose our Click & Collect option at Checkout and your selected product will be available for you to collect from your nominated store.
